2019 National Battle of the Atlantic Ceremony & Parade
The National Battle of the Atlantic commemoration will be held at the National War Memorial (NWM) in Ottawa, Sunday, 05 May 2019, from 10:30 am until approximately 12:00.
Some limited seating will be available on a first come – first served basis, but with priority given to those requiring mobility assistance.
All veterans are welcome to march in the parade with priority given to BOA veterans. Dress will be "association distinctive dress with medals.
Form-Up. The Veterans, the Colour Party and the Sea Cadet Band will assemble on Sparks Street (at Elgin) at 1020 hours.
The Veterans’ Contingent will lead the march past. Once the contingent has passed the saluting dais. The Veterans’ contingent will be dismissed when the complete parade has cleared their front. Upon dismissal, veterans may then proceed to the reception at the Fairmont Château Laurier.
